I noticed that some times I can play videos without a glitch so its an intermittent issue. Recently however, I have been having a great deal of annoyances when playing mkv files. But it still freeze every once in a while when I watch videos. I've been using PS3 media server for some time and have had relatively few issues. Since my computer is connected wirelessly, some time the Ip address change when I reboot so I have to go in my router settings and modify that. it was just a matter of getting the right port opened on my firewall/router with the right Ip address. I was wondering if someone could help out with this one.
Now I can't get my shit to work anymore, PSM won't even find my PS3.

Ps3 media server freezes windows 10#
It is one of the best Windows 10 media server that supports a wide variety of media formats like MIDI, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, and MPEG-4. This app offers an interactive full-screen interface. Then all of a sudden, it starts freezing every once in a while for a few seconds. Kodi is free to use a player that is specially designed to play movies. Twonky Media 4.4.4 is very light weight only about 4MB of ram total for the two server processes, and has a nice web interface for configuration. Update: Even the sanitized mp3 files would not show up at all in the PS3. Hi, I know this is probably not the first time you have someone posting about this issue.īut I used to be able to watch complete movies or tv shows, SD or HD without a hitch. Since neither server will serve music files to the PS3, the problem may be in the PS3.
